This committee handles the social outreach of the parish - e.g. Thanksgiving baskets, comfort kits, towels, backpack, and school supplies etc.
Spiritual Life

The Spiritual Life committee organizes spiritual events of the parish: e.g. blessing of athletes and pets, St. Jude Novena, soup night, and Stations of the Cross during Lent etc.
Junior Lectors

Young adults willing to read at the children's liturgy are trained and scheduled.
Sacristans

Prepare for Sunday liturgies by organizing the sacristy and servers before Mass.
Blue Army

Gather every Saturday after the 8:15 Mass to pray the Rosary.
Music Ministry

Provide music for worship at all of our Masses.
Cursillo

Co-ordinates and organizes retreat weekend for men and women.
Religious Education

Hispanic Ministry

A new parish ministry to the neighborhood Hispanic Community providing Mass in Spanish each Sunday at 12:30 pm.
Young Adult Prayer Group

For young adults ages 20-40. Meets last Tuesday of the month after St. Jude Novena Mass.
Parish Council

The Parish Council works with the Pastor and parish staff to co-ordinate parish life. There are 22 elected members.
Finance Committee

The Finance Committee oversees all financial matters of the parish.
Men's Club

Staff the kitchen for Bingo and pancake breakfasts and provide Christmas party for the children.
Forever Young Club

Seniors gather monthly for afternoon socials.
Loaves and Fishes

Provide a monthly meal for the homeless at Christ Church Cathedral or First Church.
Habitat for Humanity

Works with national organization in constructing homes for low income families.
Holy Name Athletic Association

The Athletic Association organizes soccer, basketball and baseball for the youth of the neighborhood.
Family Life Commission

Organizes the annual Parish Picnic
Bingo
Contact: Bernie MacArthur at 782-4093
Bingo is held Wednesday evenings. Games start 6:50 PM and run until about 9:30 PM. Volunteers are always needed. Doors open at 4 PM. Kitchen opens at 5 PM. Bingo enables the parish to offer financial aid to parish children attending Catholic Schools.
Parish Craft Fair
