We have many commissions and groups here at Holy Name, all of which provide activities and opportunities for parishioners to work together to bring the teachings of Jesus to life in our parish community. These commissions are open to all who are registered in the parish and who have a desire to serve. Involvement in these groups is a very important call to ministry, and a way for individuals to utilize their special gifts and talents for the good of others.
The following is a list of the present commissions and groups, a brief description and list of activities, as well as contact information and group meeting dates.

Parish Council
Members must be elected or appointed.
Meets third Monday of month 7:00 p.m. in the Social Center or rectory.

School Board
The Holy Name School Board acts in a consultative capacity to the Pastor of Holy Name and the Principal of Holy Name on matters of General educational, financial and operational policies, in keeping with the policies of the Bishop and the Diocesan Board of Education. While the primary function of the School Board is different from the Parents Association, they often share mutual goals and concerns and work together in whatever way they can for the betterment of the school. Discusses matter pertaining to the school.

Meets the second Monday of month 7:00-9:00 in school library.

Spiritual Life Commission
Activities include the gift shop, living rosary, St. Jude novena, soup night, stations of cross, blessing of pets and motorcycles, and Eucharistic devotion.Meets first Tuesday of month 7:00 in rectory.

Family Life Commission
Needs new members, plans parish picnic, Advent family activity, works with Men's Club on Hall of Fame party, and various other activities.

Parent's Association
The Holy Name Parents Association is now a very effective organization. The officers are elected by the membership and the written by laws are available to parents upon request. Every family is invited to join the association, attend meetings and become involved. It is an important vehicle for increasing communication between the school and the home, and essential in the education process of children. This association also supports the Catholic education atmosphere of the school, fosters a spirit of loyalty to the school, assists in extra curriculum/recreational programs, provides social activities, and assists in the financial support of the school through fund raising.
